We are looking forward to another exciting school year! Below are the key dates and events for Term 1, with a preview of important dates in Terms 2 and 3. Please mark your calendars.

Term 1 – Key Dates

• Friday 22nd August 2025 – Staff Meeting (5th Year Peer Mentors only attend 2pm–4pm)

• Monday 25th August 2025 – 1st Year Students & Mentors only (9.30am–12.30pm). Parents attend 9.30–10.30am.

• Tuesday 26th August 2025 – 1st, 3rd & 6th Year Students only (9am start).

• Wednesday 27th August 2025 – All students return (9am).

• Monday 29th September 2025 – School closed.

• Friday 10th October 2025 – Taster Programme ends for 1st Year Students.

• Monday 6th – Friday 17th October 2025 – TY Work Experience.

• Thursday 23rd October 2025 – Parent/Teacher Meeting (2nd & 6th Years, 4.10pm–6.40pm). School closes at 3.40pm.

• Monday 27th – Friday 31st October 2025 – Mid-Term Break (School closed).

• Monday 3rd November 2025 – School reopens at 9am for all students.

• Thursday 6th November 2025 – Oide Staff Training (school closed to students).

• Thursday 13th November 2025 – Open Night (7pm, for 5th & 6th class pupils and parents/guardians).

• Monday 17th – Friday 21st November 2025 – November Assessments (all year groups).

• Tuesday 25th November 2025 –

  • Oide Staff Training (school closed to students)

  • Parent/Teacher Meeting (1st & 3rd Years, 4.10pm–6.40pm). School closes at 3.40pm.

• Thursday 4th December 2025 – TY Show (St. Mary’s Parish Hall, Lanesboro).

• Thursday 11th December 2025 – Parent/Teacher Meeting (5th & TY Years, 4.10pm–6.40pm). School closes at 3.40pm.

• Friday 19th December 2025 – School closes for Christmas Holidays.

Looking Ahead – Term 2 Highlights

• Monday 5th January 2026 – School reopens at 9am.

• Monday 2nd February 2026 – Public Holiday (St. Brigid’s Day). School closed.

• Thursday 5th – Friday 13th February 2026 – 3rd & 6th Year Mock Exams.

• Monday 9th – Friday 13th February 2026 – 5th Year Work Experience.

• Monday 16th – Friday 20th February 2026 – Mid-Term Break.

• Monday 23rd February 2026 – School reopens at 9am.

• Monday 23rd February – Friday 6th March 2026 – TY Work Experience.

• Tuesday 17th March 2026 – Public Holiday (St. Patrick’s Day). School closed.

• Monday 23rd March 2026 – Oide Staff Training (school closed to students).

• Monday 30th March – Friday 10th April 2026 – Easter Holidays.

• Monday 13th April 2026 – School reopens at 9am.

• Monday 4th May 2026 – May Bank Holiday (school closed).

• Friday 15th – Tuesday 19th May 2026 – TY House Assessments.

• Monday 25th – Wednesday 27th May 2026 – 1st, 2nd & 5th Year House Assessments.

• Tuesday 19th May 2026 – School Awards (JCSP & TY).

• Thursday 21st May 2026 – 6th Year Graduation Service.

• Friday 22nd May 2026 – Sports Day.

• Wednesday 27th May 2026 – School Awards.

• Thursday 28th May 2026 – School Outing (1st, 2nd & 5th Years).

• Friday 29th May 2026 – Activity Day/Exams and School closes for Summer Holidays.
